Many of our remodel projects are completed in under three weeks, and the way that we do it is simple. By ensuring that the entire project is planned down to the last detail, ordering all of the product and having it on hand in advance of the start of construction, we are able to minimize the occurrence of delays and stoppages that are common in the traditional remodel process. Our Smart Design program allows us to minimize the burden to the homeowner, first in the actual design of the project and then in its installation.
Bear in mind, depending on the scope and scale of your project, it may not fall into a three week timeline. Regardless of the time frame, we approach every project with the same focus on expedience and efficiency, planning every aspect of the project up-front. Only once you know exactly what you’re buying, how much it will cost and how long it will take, will we begin construction.  This is unlike the “back-of-the-truck” builder, who might provide you with estimates and allowance that may not reflect your style preferences.

The first step is the Initial Consultation, during which a Three Week Kitchens representative will come out to your home to take a look at your project, hear your ideas for how you would like to revitalize the space, and discuss our program with you. Based on this initial consultation, we will mutually decide if we are a good fit and if we’d like to move forward together. Should we decide to move forward, we will collect a Design Deposit and then begin the design process.
From there, your Designer/Project Manager will work with you to plan your remodel project. In as few as three one-hour meetings from the first time you meet with your Designer/Project Manager, we will have planned and priced out your entire project from inception to completion, working with you the entire time to make sure you are happy with your selections. 

With Three Week Kitchens™, you aren’t alone in the design process, or at any step along the way. Our Kitchen and Bath Designers work with you to make the consultation and design process as simple for you as you’d like – our process allows for exactly as much participation as you care to give, whether you’re hands-on or laissez-faire. We collaborate with you in your home to determine your needs and tastes, and our Kitchen and Bath Designers excel at creating cohesive, functional and beautiful designs that will personally suit you.
Our program is geared toward busy professionals wanting designer quality without the hassle of traditional remodel – we know you’re busy, so we’ve designed this program to make designing a beautiful kitchen or bath remodel as quick and easy as possible, while maintaining exceptional quality.

Our “shop at home” program is convenient for you, and we will spend the time up front to learn your style preferences and then bring only samples that are relevant in style and price point to you.  This saves you time and money over a traditional hourly design program, though our design process allows for as much customization as working with a traditional designer would.
Before any products or materials are ordered, our Kitchen and Bath Designers will sit down with you to review your order.  Every item on the order, each with a photo, will be discussed with you for your verification.  Only once you have signed off on the order will we move forward with your remodel. This ensures that you get exactly what you want.

In order for the actual remodel to occur in only three, or one week in the case of Cabinet Refacing, all of the upfront work must be completed before actual construction begins.  Before the remodel starts, you have spent time with our Kitchen and Bath Designers to see all of your options – this preliminary work that occurs before we step foot into your home encompasses all planning, ordering, and checking and re-checking of products.  This preparatory planning and work allows us to be able to complete your kitchen or bath within our time-frames and at your desired budgets.  Allowing changes during the remodel would void our time guarantee.
Don’t worry – before any orders are actually submitted, you confirm, for a second time, all selections.  This process lessens the need or desire for changes. We want you to love your new kitchen or bath, so we do everything we can, ahead of time, to ensure you do.

As products for your remodel are received, we will review each of them to ensure they are correct and free from defects.  Once everything has arrived, all products are delivered to your home and your new kitchen or bath will begin to take shape.Three Week Kitchens™ is also responsible for all the permits necessary for the remodel.  Our goal is to make this as convenient and simple for you as possible.

We created the business to make sure the remodeling process is the least intrusive and disruptive to your and your family’s life as possible, so you can certainly occupy your home during construction. You should expect some disruption during the process, and we’ll work with you to make sure you’re aware of what steps need to be taken to prepare for construction.

Our team usually has one or two key people: an experienced Kitchen and Bath Designer/Project Manager and a Construction Manager who will guide you through every step of the Three Week Kitchens™ process. For many jobs, there may only be only two or three additional craftsmen. The same people will work on your job from start to finish, allowing us to provide a dependable outcome for you. Should the need arise for outside tradespeople, we use only licensed and insured trade professionals, with whom we have established relationships to guarantee quality, safety and expedience. You can be sure that they will treat your home with the utmost respect and will never leave it unattended when you are not there.

The only true way to know exactly how much your project will cost and how long it will take is by doing all the planning and product selections up front.  Everything else is merely an estimate and could result in unhappy surprises in the middle of an already stressful experience, when you are most vulnerable.

Our goal is to provide timeless sophistication at every price point, any style. With that in mind, we offer a broad selection of materials in all product categories, from cabinetry to countertops, plumbing and tile. While we don’t have a particular loyalty to any one or several manufacturers, we only specify product from quality manufacturers because we stand by the quality of our work. We select products that are name brand recognized, proven performers and readily available (so as to avoid delays). Some commonly known brands we like to use are Delta, Moen, Kohler, Jenn-Air, Sub-Zero and Wolf.

Unfortunately, we cannot. The responsibility for obtaining materials and ensuring their quality and completeness needs to lie with us in order for us to guarantee the work we complete.  We want to be responsible for purchasing the correct products, color matching, and ordering fittings that work together.  If we cannot control the entire process, we cannot guarantee that the job will be completed within our time frames and quality standards.

While Three Week Kitchens™ does not do large additions, we are happy to help you find the perfect building partner of your choice, and plan your addition with you.  We can often expand your existing spaces by moving non-structural or non-bearing walls.
